This policy describes how we process the personal data of users who visit this website and book the experiences promoted under the Alpinside brand, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Data controller
The trips are promoted under the Alpinside brand by Stefano Rosso, certified IML Mountain Leader (Biella, Italy). Tour operator services and the conclusion of sales contracts are handled by Summit Guides, acting as data controller for the data collected during booking.

Data we collect
Identification and contact details you provide during booking: first name, last name, date of birth, email and phone number of participants.
Payment-related data, handled directly by our payment provider Stripe. We do not process or store your full card details.
Technical browsing data (IP address, browser type, technical cookies) required for the site to work.
Purposes and legal basis
Managing bookings and purchased experiences, performing the contract and providing support (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Compliance with legal, tax and accounting obligations (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
Service communications about the trip (confirmations, practical information, gear list).
Payments
Online payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., acting as an independent processor/controller for the data needed for the transaction. Card data is encrypted and handled directly by Stripe under the PCI-DSS standard.
Data retention
We keep data for as long as necessary to provide the service and, thereafter, for the period required by law (in particular tax legislation, up to 10 years).
Data sharing
Data may be shared with Summit Guides (tour operator), Stripe (payments) and the technical providers that support us in delivering the service. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Your rights
At any time you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability by writing to stefano@alpinside.it.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

We may update this policy over time. The current version will always be available on this page together with its last updated date.
